OSHA 29 CFR 1926 requires a “Competent Person” on a construction-site. This person must be competent in the phases of construction currently underway. A “Competent Person” is someone who has the training and experience needed to recognize safety and health hazards and the authority to take immediate corrective action. This 4-day course is packed with information on all phases of construction. Subjects covered include fall protection, scaffolding, electrical hazards, chemical hazards, cranes, forklifts, trenching and others.
